We are doing well. The weather has been cool at night. I have been sleeping with 2 blankets. The washing machines are broken so NHHM has brought in some extra workers just to do the wash. There is only one dryer working but thankfully the sun has been shining so that the clothes can dry. We had a wonderful time at church yesterday. The kids sing so beautifully and are so well versed in the Scripture. Pastor L. has done a wonderful job with discipleship. We are doing better with our Creole. I only ask simple questions like, "Did you pee in the bed?". We have established a game against two teams of frequent bedwetters and each morning if they did not pee they get a sticker on the chart. At the end of one week, the team with the most stickers gets to have a party with us upstairs. Some kids are doing very well but some of the little ones have not gotten a sticker yet. :( Hopefully we can get some of them trained so that it will cut down on diapers and sheet washing.

The other day a woman came to the gate with a one year old boy that she wanted to leave here. This happens all the time but I have never seen it. I asked to see the child to make sure he was not sick. Dr. V. was here with us and he looked at the boy. He had scabies and signs of anemia and malnutrition. The woman said the boy was abandoned by his father at her house. She is not the mother; the mother is dead. The father said he would come back with diapers, etc. but he never returned. The woman said she cannot care for the child because she has three children of her own to care for. We could not accept the child because we have a full house. We sent her to another orphanage and gave her some medicine for the boy. His name is Sunday. Please pray for them.
